Absolut 100 Cocktail Recipes

In September 2007, Absolut introduced Absolut 100. Aside from its kick, Absolut 100 also was notable for its sleek packaging. It is the first Absolut vodka not released in a in clear bottle, but instead is in a black bottle with silver lettering. The effect is mysterious and sophisticated, and helps set this vodka apart from its Absolut cousins.
Pumpkin Martini
This sweet and smooth cocktail was created as a signature drink at Mokai in Miami Beach.
- 3 parts Absolut 100
- 1/2 part Hiram Walker Pumpkin Spice liqueur
- splash of simple syrup
Combine all ingredients with ice in a shaker, and shake vigorously to combine. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, and serve garnished with a cinnamon stick.
Hauntini
Created and served at Marquee in New York City
- 1 part Absolut 100
- 1/2 part lemon-lime soda
- 1/2 part pineapple juice
- 1/2 part sweet & sour mix
- 1/2 part grenadine
- splash of blue curacao
Combine all ingredients with ice in a shaker, and shake briefly just to mix. Strain into an ice-filled highball glass, and garnish with a lemon slice. The cocktail may also be built over ice in the highball glass.
The Formula 150
- 1 part Absolut 100
- 2 parts Formula Fifty bottled water
- splash of club soda
Build ingredients over fresh ice in a tall glass. Serve garnished with a twist of lime.
Absolut Bling
- 1 part Absolut 100
- 1 part apple juice
- 1 part champagne
Combine the Absolut 100 and apple juice in an ice-filled shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a tall cocktail glass, and top with chilled champagne.
Winter Breeze
- 2 parts Absolut 100
- 2 parts fresh pineapple juice
- pinch of ground nutmeg
- pinch of ground ginger
- splash of ginger ale
Combine the first four ingredients in an ice-filled shaker and shake to combine. Strain over ice in a highball glass, and top off with ginger ale. Garnish with pineapple and a pinch of nutmeg
Double 00 Orange
- 1 part Absolut 100
- 1/2 part Grand Marnier
- 1/2 part DeKuyper Triple Sec
- 2 parts orange juice
Shake all ingredients with ice to chill. Strain over ice into a rocks glass.
Easy Now
- 2 parts Absolut 100
- 3/4 part Chambord
- 1 part fresh lime juice
- 1/4 part simple syrup
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice, and shake to chill. Strain over ice into a cocktail glass. Serve garnished with a lime wedge.
Absolut 50/50
1 part Absolut 100
1 part champagne
Prechill both the vodka and the champagne. Pour the vodka into a chilled champagne flute, and top off with champagne.
And of course, don't forget the classic Bloody Mary cocktail. Many of the traditional recipes from the 1930's originally called for high proof vodka, making Absolut 100 a natural fit.
