Delicious alcoholic drinks that are fun and eye appealing are the recipe for success for an evening spent with girlfriends.

When the girls get together at your house for bunco, book club, movie night, or just playful gossip, let the good times roll by keeping the beverages flowing. A good hostess knows that cocktails should be both tasty and good looking. Find recipes and tips on how to make the drinks attractive.

Glassware and Accessories: What You'll NeedMake sure you have plenty of wine glasses and other barware. Cute cocktail glasses for cosmos, margaritas, daiquiris, and other drinks can be found at a variety of stores. Try a range of places such as Pier 1 Imports, Crate & Barrel, Target, or Kohls. Look for colorful glasses with different designs on the glass. You can keep it in one theme to match your decor or mix and match for fun. Plastic cocktail glasses are available for outdoor parties. Don't forget the accessories such as umbrellas, stir sticks, light-up ice cubes and the like. Charms or jewelry that hook onto the stem of each glass are essential to keep people from mixing up their drinks.

Don't forget about edible garnishes. Slices of fruit, berries, lemon and lime peels, and ice cubes with sprigs of mint or berries frozen inside look great and make the whole drink more appealing.
