Halloween has become one of the most popular party holidays of the year. Enjoy these adult cocktails at your party!

Hauntini

Absolut released their 100 proof premium vodka, Absolut 100, just in time for New York hotspot Marquee to create this signature drink. It’ll serve up both Halloween tricks and treats.

  • 1 part Absolut 100
  • ½ part lemon-lime soda
  • ½ part pineapple juice
  • ½ part sour mix
  • ½ part grenadine
  • splash of blue curacao

Combine all ingredients over ice in a highball glass. Serve garnished with a lemon slice.

Scream Soda

  • 1.25 oz. Captain Morgan Spiced Rum
  • 5 oz. lemon-lime soda

Combine the Captain Morgan Spiced Rum and lemon-lime soda in a tall, ice-filled glass. Garnish with a slice of lemon and a slice of lime.

Pumpkin Martini

Pumpkins and pumpkin pie are synonymous with Halloween and fall. This version of the Pumpkin Martini is a signature drink at Mokai in Miami Beach, and featured two of the new spirits of the season.

  • 3 parts Absolut 100
  • ½ part Hiram Walker Pumpkin Spice Liqueur
  • splash of simple syrup

Combine all ingredients over ice and shake. Strain into a cocktail glass, and garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Pumpkin Divine

CocktailTimes.com has also weighed in with a pumpkin cocktail for Halloween. It’s sure to leave behind a jack-o-lantern smile.

  • 1 part Grey Goose La Poire vodka
  • 1 part pumpkin butter
  • ½ part triple sec
  • ½ part simple syrup
  • Pinch of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and ginger

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously, until the outside of the shaker is frosted and beaded with sweat. Strain into a cocktail glass. Serve garnished with grated nutmeg and an apple chip.

The Ghost

  • 1.25 oz. Smirnoff Vanilla Vodka
  • .25 oz. Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
  • .25 oz. half-and-half
  • .25 oz. simple syrup

Add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice. Shake to combine, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass rimmed with white chocolate. Garnish with white chocolate shavings. (Courtesy of TheBar.com)

Prickly Pear

Sweet and sour flavors contrast and combine in this cocktail, sure to spice up a spooky night. The Prickly Pear is a signature drink at the TAO Las Vegas, at the Venetian.

  • 1 ½ parts Absolut Pear vodka
  • ½ part Triple Sec
  • 1 part pineapple juice
  • splash of sour mix
  • splash of blue curacao

Combine all ingredients. Serve over ice in a highball glass, garnished with a cherry.

Pumpkin French 75

The original French 75 was created during World War I, and named for the 75-millimeter artillery gun. This version still packs a wallop, while adding a hint of fall flavor.

  • 1 oz. Plymouth Gin
  • 1 oz. pumpkin puree
  • 1 ½ oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ½ oz. simple syrup
  • Champagne

Shake all ingredients except champagne in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a champagne flute. Top with chilled champagne and serve. (Courtesy of CocktailTimes.com)

Royal Cider Grog

Hot drinks are popular choices for chilly evenings. This grog will warm up a crowd!

  • 1.5 cups Crown Royal
  • 8 cups apple cider
  • 8 cinnamon sticks

Combine Crown Royal and apple cider in a large pot, and heat until warm. Pour into 8 heat-proof mugs, and garnish each mug with a cinnamon stick. (Courtesy of TheBar.com)
