A martini may not be what comes to mind when thinking of traditional Christmas drinks, but these cocktails might change that.

Baileys Holiday Martini

Thank you to our friends at TheBar.com for this signature cocktail

  • 2 oz. Baileys Irish Cream
  • .25 oz Smirnoff No.21 vodka
  • .25 oz Godiva Chocolate Liqueur

Combine Baileys, vodka, and Godiva in a shaker. Shake with ice, and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a fresh raspberry.

Gingerbread Lattetini

  • 1 part Starbucks cream liqueur
  • 1/2 part Butter Shots
  • 1/2 part Hot Damn

Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice, and shake until chilled. Strain into a cocktail glass. Serve garnished with a dash of nutmeg.

Cran-Apple Cobbler

  • 1 1/2 oz. cranberry vodka
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 4 oz. apple cider
  • 1 oz. cranberry juice

Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Strain into a chilled martini glass rimmed with crushed graham cracker. Garnish with an apple slice.

The Grinch

  • 2 oz. Midori
  • 1/2 oz. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. simple syrup

Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Drop in a maraschino cherry for garnish. (The Grinch's changed heart - get it?)

Candy Cane

This signature drink from SKYY vodka is great fun. Use schnapps or creme de cacao to wet the glass before rimming with crushed peppermint candy.

  • 3/4 oz. SKYY Berry vodka
  • 3/4 oz. peppermint schnapps
  • 3/4 oz. white creme de cacao
  • 1/4 oz. grenadine
  • half and half or heavy cream
  • club soda

Pour the vodka, schnapps, creme de cacao and grenadine into a cocktail shaker with ice, and shake well. Pour into a candy-rimmed cocktail glass. Fill with half and half or heavy cream, and top off with club soda.

The Red Hot SantaTini

At first glance, chocolate and hot peppers may seem like an odd combination, but they complement each other perfectly.

  • 1 oz. pepper vodka
  • 2 oz. Godiva chocolate liqueur
  • cocoa powder
  • cayenne pepper

Mix the cocoa powder with a pinch of cayene pepper, and use the mixture to rim a cocktail glass. Combine the vodka with the chocolate liqueur in a shaker with ice, and shake vigorously, straining into the cocktail glass. Top with a dab of sweet whipped cream, and garnish with a small Thai chili pepper.

Christmas Cookie

This sweet and rich concoction is a signature drink at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC.

  • 2 oz. White Godiva vodka
  • 2 oz. Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1/2 oz. peppermint schnapps
  • 1/2 oz. half and half or heavy cream

Drizzle chocolate syrup on a chilled cocktail glass. Combine vodka, Baileys, schnapps, and half and half in a shaker with ice, and shake to chill. Strain into the cocktail glass. Serve garnished with a miniature candy cane or chocolate shavings.
