Coat the Rim
A variation on the creation of the drink is to coat the rim of each martini glass with a flavored sugar in order to enhance the flavor. A popular choice for a flavored rim would be vanilla sugar since it will complement the vanilla vodka.

Dip your martini glass upside down into the milk
Dunk your martini glass into your flavored sugar to coat the rim.
Pour the Pumpkin Spice Martini into the rimmed glasses, garnish as described and serve to your thirsty guests.
Entertaining Large Parties
If hosting a large party or event like Thanksgiving dinner, pre-make the Pumpkin Spice Martini's in a large pitcher. Then set the pitcher in the fridge covered in plastic wrap until it is time to serve. Then simply pour the Pumpkin Spice Martini into each awaiting glass and garnish.
The Kid's Version of the Pumpkin Spice Martini (Milkshake)
When it comes to satisfying the wee ones, substitute equal parts Pumpkin Ice Cream (available seasonally at the grocery store) for the vodka and milk for the vanilla vodka. Add a dash of Pumpkin spice and stir until thick.
Garnish the Pumpkin Spice Milkshake in the same manner with a dollop of whipped cream and freshly grated cinnamon and nutmeg. Just make sure they leave room for dinner!
